The term leadership can be conceptualized in different ways. It has been argued that the definition of leadership is subjective; therefore, there is no correct definition. According to Gunter (2004, cited in Bush, 2011), labels that are used to indicate this field has changed from ‘educational administration’ to ‘educational management’, and recently to ‘educational leadership’. In this paper I will try to write my own philosophy of leadership by incorporating elements from all previous course work, leadership frameworks, and key readings that I had while doing a Master`s degree in Educational Leadership Program.
