Abstract: this article discusses the problem of learning English in school. To increase the quality of practice and contribute to the emergence of motivation to the colloquial speech promotes the use of interactive forms and methods of teaching English. Presentations, discussions, projects, role-playing games - all these techniques do not only realize a more informal atmosphere during the lesson, but also reveals the creative abilities of pupils, their interests.
