Main:
Put up the My room! poster on the board. Point to the items (Doll, kite, car, plane, train, bike, teddy, bear), one at a time, and say the corresponding words. The pupils repeat, chorally and individually. Name an item, e.g. bike. Ask a pupil to mime a corresponding action, e.g. riding it.
Answer key: I’ve got a doll. It’s yellow. I’ve got a train. It’s blue. I’ve got a kite. It’s green. I’ve got a car. It’s orange. I’ve got a bike. It’s red. I’ve got a plane. It’s purple.
Extension activity (Optional)
For weaker classes: ask the pupils to take out their story cutouts. Ask them to shuffle them. Play the dialogue with pauses. The pupils listen and hold up the corresponding cutout. |
