(P, W) Warm up Start by students watch videos and to repeat the modes of transportation that are represented on the Board. You can ask leading questions or ask students to answer on their own. As an extension, learners can divide transport in three categories: land transport, water and air transport. Then divide the students into pairs to repeat the types of prepositions and answer the test. Differentiation: pair up less and more able learners together. (P, W) Grammar: Travel verbs and prepositions To fix the verbs that are used in the transport topic, students complete the following task. Students need to use the map to get to the marked places on the map. The task is individual. After execution, a mutual check is performed using the "Bus stop" method, changing places and checking each other. Teacher should monitor, walk around the class and provide scaffolding for less able learners. Homework: prepare a poster about your favorite form of transport. Its pros and cons. |

Reflection Ask learners to write their reflections on stickers «Man». They should mention the following: what they have learnt/revised, what difficulties they had during the lesson and what questions they still have. Then the students stick their stickers on different vehicles. If everything is understood on the race car. If there were difficulties, but during the lesson he coped with them, then he puts a sticker on the bus. But if it was difficult at all and there were questions, glues the sticker just on the road. Teacher can use information to plan their lessons and identify learners who need more additional support from a teacher. |
