In the current state of the global environment, the priority of finding alternative energy sources is becoming more significant because this problem has begun to rise in many countries. The Republic of Kazakhstan is also one of the States concerned about this issue. This project is intended at determining the possibility of developing environmentally friendly energy sources, namely nuclear energy in Kazakhstan. The number of raw materials, the decision of the authorities, and the opinion of ordinary residents will be taken into account. All these factors will further influence the final result of the work in the project.
Nuclear power, for now, is considered as one of the “green energy” and has good advantages and a long-term perspective of use since emissions from oil and coal plants exceed the norms, in addition, the world stock of black gold is decreasing every year (statistics). The NPP is especially suitable for Kazakhstan, whose uranium reserves, as the leading source of atomic energy, are estimated at 900 thousand tons.
However, such an industry has its drawbacks. Although the risk of an accident is the most unlikely outcome, this fact becomes one of the main reasons for distrust of nuclear energy. At the same time, there are many other controversial points regarding the difference of the primary energy source in Kazakhstan. And judging by the numerous articles in which the authors express comprehensively different positions, we can say that this topic is controversial and requires a deep analysis of the issue and a clear conclusion
For this purpose, that research had made. The relevance of the project is to clarify the need for the introduction of such an industry as nuclear energy and how it will affect the development of the country Kazakhstan. In addition, I had a case in the past to analyze the pros and cons of nuclear energy. That was the beginning of my interest in the theme of NPP, which also influenced the choice of the project work's theme
