(I,W) Warm up: Film’s wordsThe teacher gives new words, after which the children write them down and sing them with the help of music. (I) Listening Teacher tells students they are going to listen to information about types of films. Learners have to listen and recognize context, identify where they might hear the information, and what genre each film is. Teacher plays both parts of the recording. Answer key: These are film horror, so they might hear the information in a cinema, in the Internet or on the radio. The first is for an action film, the second for a romantic comedy.
(I) While-Listening The teacher asks two groups: "What other types of films do you know?" The children name the types of films and ask Alice's voice speaker about these types.
(I,W) Post-Listening The teacher gives the students the task of removing a film from the film and naming the type and title of the film. Practice work The teacher gives a game from the WordlWall program and students must correctly arrange the pictures of films by type
