In Kazakhstan, where it is claimed that more than 30% of women have experienced physical or sexual abuse in their lives, the eradication of violence against women is a crucial issue. A comprehensive strategy that incorporates research, instruction, judicial and policy reform, as well as services for survivors, is needed to end violence against women. Kazakhstan may work toward establishing a more just and equitable society where women are free from abuse and prejudice by giving this problem priority. In this paper, I discussed root causes of partner based abuse and approaches to tackle this obstacle. I focused on intervention and preventive efforts that could be influenced by knowing who commits violence against women and why.
