2. Check the answers with the class. Learners write a science-fiction story about a chimpanzee living in the wild, but with a human brain. Learners should answer the questions:in what ways would the chimp behave differently from an ordinary chimp? Considering the limitations of its body structure, such as its inability to speak or its inability to walk without using its hands, in what ways would the chimp behave like an ordinary chimp? How might the chimp try to alter its world? Have each student share his or her story with the class. Learners reflect on what they have learnt this lesson. |

Additional information |
||||||||
Differentiation – how do you plan to give more support? How do you plan to challenge the more able learners? |
Assessment – how are you planning to check learners’ learning? |
Health and safety check |
||||||
Differentiation by learners’ readiness |
Learners do self and peer assessment |
Warming up should be used at lesson as the topic ‘exercise and sport’ |
||||||
Reflection Were the lesson objectives/learning objectives realistic? Did all learners achieve the LO? If not, why? Did my planned differentiation work well? Did I stick to timings? What changes did I make from my plan and why? |
